Customer Sales Policy

Our Commitment

At Crown & Crux, each piece of jewelry is crafted to order with the highest standards of quality. To ensure clarity and customer satisfaction, the following terms apply to all custom orders: 

1. Deposits & Payments 

  • All custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit before production begins. 

  • The balance is due in full prior to delivery or pickup. 

  • Work will not begin until the deposit is received. 

2. Approval of Specifications 

  • Customers will receive detailed design specifications and/or CAD renderings prior to production. 

  • Approval may be provided either by reply email confirming the specifications or by payment of the 50% deposit, which shall be deemed acceptance of both the specifications and this Sales Policy. 

  • Once approved, any changes may result in additional charges and may affect delivery timelines. 

3. Production Timeline 

  • Estimated production time is generally 4–6 weeks from approval, subject to stone availability and vendor timelines. 

  • Crown & Crux will communicate any material delays as soon as possible. 

4. Refunds & Cancellations 

  • Custom jewelry orders are final and non-refundable. 

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. 

  • If a cancellation is requested before work has started, the Company may refund the deposit less any design or administrative costs already incurred. 

5. Quality & Satisfaction 

  • Crown & Crux guarantees that your jewelry will match the approved specifications in metal, stone type, and design. 

  • Minor natural variations in gemstone color, inclusions, or texture are normal — these variations make your jewelry unique and are not considered defects. 

6. Warranty & Resizing 

  • A lifetime, non-transferrable warranty covers defects in workmanship.  For full warranty details please visit our website here

  • One complimentary resizing is available within 60 days of delivery. 

  • Additional resizing, repairs, or modifications are available as a paid service. 

7. Delivery & Risk of Loss 

  • Orders may be picked up in person or shipped via insured carrier. 

  • Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery or pickup. 

8. Photo & Marketing Release 

Crown & Crux may photograph jewelry pieces it creates, including custom designs, and use such images for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes. Customer names and personal information will never be disclosed without written consent. If you prefer not to have your piece photographed or displayed, please notify us in writing at the time of your order. 

9. Design Concierge Role & Disclaimer 

Design Concierge act as independent representatives of Crown & Crux for customer consultation and preparation of estimates. All payments and contractual obligations are directly between the customer and Crown & Crux. 

By submitting payment of the required deposit, the customer acknowledges acceptance of the design specifications and this Customer Sales Policy.
